How To Flash Stock ROM/ Firmware On ZTE Android Devices Via SD Card

For different android devices, there are different service tools for flashing and servicing them. Based on the hardware, primarily, the chipset; using the most suitable tool to flash firmware on android device makes the flashing operation easy and more likely, error free.

How To Flash Stock ROM/Firmware on ZTE Android Devices Via SD CARD 

Step One: Download ZTE stock ROM / SDcard update or upgrade package for any model from here.
Step Two: Copy the update.zip package from your computer to the phone’s root directory (/sdcard/) of the storage.
– On your computer, navigate to Computer > Device Model > Phone. Then copy the update.zip package into this location. – For MTP mode
   – Copy to Phone storage or Internal SDcard root, if connected via Mass storage.

Step Three: Verify that the file has been successfully copied to your device storage by navigating to your device root directory via a file manager

Step Four: Now go to: Settings => About Phone => System updates => Storage card updates. Tap Ok to proceed.
Step Five: If you have not previously made a backup and still wish to do so, click Backup& Update. Else, select Update Now to begin the firmware update / upgrade process.

Step Six: The phone will reboot and start the upgrade. Please be patient and do not interrupt, the whole upgrade process may take about 5 minutes.
The phone will restart again when the updating finishes. This reboot may take about 10 minutes.
Congratulations! You have successfully updated your ZTE android device firmware.
