How to Flash .Zip Files using CWM (ClockworkMod) Recovery on Android Phone.
Flash .Zip Files using ClockworkMod. To following this guide your Android phone must be installed CWM Custom Recovery. So, if you need to install flashable file into your Android phone just place your flashable zip file in SD card then boot your device into Custom Recovery mode. for example, we want to install a custom ROM, Custom Recovery or installing GApps.

Pre Requisites.
- Your Android phone must have root access.
- Install Custom Recovery (CWM) on your device. See this guide

- Copy the .zip file you want to flash to your SDcard. We recommend saving the .Zip file in the root of SD Card. But you can also save the file in any folder you wish on your SD Card.
- Boot your Android phone into Recovery Mode. How to Boot your phone and Use CWM Recovery?
- Power off the phone and wait for it until vibrates.
- Then, boot your phone into recovery mode. For most Android phone, you can press and hold the following button.
- Power button + Volume Down button for a second,
- An alternative way to boot your phone into recovery mode.
- Volume UP + Home key + Power button
- Release all button when your phone enters a recovery mode.
- Once you are in CWM recovery, you should see something like the picture shown below.
